Regional Engineering Manager – Industrial Engineering

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of Ripe4’s most prestigious clients as a Regional Engineering Manager to join their operations to be based out of their site in the south of the UK – This company has Multi £Billion turnover and operates from multiple counties worldwide

As the Regional Engineering Manager you will have full responsibility for managing all aspects of the development engineering program as well as the life cycle engineering process. You will be expected to coordinate the appropriate deployment of resources towards multiple engineering projects focusing mainly on the development of new products with a view of taking them to market. You will also be focusing on research and development to ensure the client is able to provide their customers with true value hence solidifying their place as an industry leader.

The position will involve the management of a team of engineers and therefore you will be someone who has the gravitas to provide direction and motivation to a team of cross functional individuals. In addition the client are a very lean focused company and as a result a strong understanding of lean and continuous improvement especially within product development is desired.

In order to apply for this role you must be degree educated in either electrical or mechanical engineering and have had more than 10 years’ experience within engineering. You must have led teams and possesses significant experience dealing with new product development. You must also have experience of Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement, coupled with strong project management skills and leadership!
