Refuse Loader / Dustcart Loader, Maidstone, Kent
Our client, a leader in the waste management industry, are looking to bring on board a new team of agency refuse loaders to serve the local residents and businesses, supporting the collection of waste.
Shifts are offered on an ad hoc basis, with the most reliable and effective refuse loaders receiving up to 5 days per week. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door with a large and well known company – working hard can, and has for many, lead to full time placements and/or permanent Refuse Loading / Dustcart Loading work.
Refuse Loader / Dustcart Loader shifts are Monday to Friday,.Start times are between 06:00am and 06:30am, with shifts averaging between 7.5 and 10 hours in length (this means finish times will vary depending on the route you are on).
About you:
* You should be hard-working, energetic, enthusiastic and customer facing.
* You should enjoy physical work as you will be covering large areas on foot, undertaking repetitive manual handling throughout the round.
* Reliable and flexible, able to be called on at short notice and reach the depot in good time when needed.
* Happy working outside in all weathers, handling waste.
* Comfortable speaking to the general public, representing the company and local council well.
* Knowledge of the Waste Management industry is beneficial but not essential – all training can be given to those with the right motivation and attitude.
