Recruitment Coordinator

Salary: £13.87 – £15.31 per hour

SCC continues to win significant new business across our various Service businesses. As a result our need to bring in talented individuals across the business, to support this growth, has never been greater.

The SCC Recruitment team prides itself on delivering high calibre candidates to all areas of our business. In order to support our efforts, we are looking to recruit a Recruitment Coordinator to join our team in Birmingham.

You will be responsible for a wide a varied range of tasks to support the team in their efforts to attract top talent.

Success in this position is demonstrated by teamwork, enthusiasm, problem solving, and ability to work under pressure with excellent communication skills.

Duties will include;

·Handling advertising response and arranging interviews in a very high volume environment

·Provide support and organisation of internal recruitment campaigns

·Liaising with Line Managers to ensure a smooth recruitment process

·Monitoring the recruitment system and identifying any information and data gaps.

·Proactive database searching

·Development of Social Media messaging i.e. Facebook, Twitter etc.

·Sourcing candidates from LinkedIn

·Building a database of prospective candidates

·Manage job board activities, monitoring applications from all sources

·Post all job descriptions onto internal/external sites

·Basic screening of responding candidates

·Act as initial point of contact for candidate queries

Skills & Experience:

·Excellent Administration and Organisational Skills

·Previous success working in a fast paced, high-volume environment

·Demonstrable success in achieving challenging deadlines

·Highly proficient in MS outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel with previous reporting experience

·Good understanding of Social Media

·Excellent communication and customer service skills

·The ability to work well under pressure, proactively and collaboratively as part of a team

·Ability to develop effective relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
