Reach Truck Operative

My client, a highly respected and prestigious food production company, based in Scunthorpe has an immediate requirement for a Forklift truck operative.

The ideal candidate must have a valid Reach truck licence and a minimum of 2 years recent experience operating a reach truck. Experience on electric pallet trucks is also preferable but not essential.

This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate. The day to day duties of the role will involve;

working in a cold environment
Loading and off-loading deliveries
Picking orders
Inputting orders onto internal database
The use of internal scannerThe right candidate will be flexible, committed and operate with high levels of precision and care as each pallet is extremely valuable.

The hours of work are on a rotating shift basis between the hours of 6am and 1am Monday to Friday (06:00-14:30 / 07:00 – 15:45 / 08:00-17:00 / 13:30 – 23:00 / 15:30 – 01:00)

Overtime is also often available at weekends.
