Full Time Ramp Agent/Baggage Handlers – London Heathrow Airport – Our client, a large ground handler based at Heathrow Airport, is now seeking Ramp Agents and Baggage Handlers to join their busy and friendly team.

Job Role
This is a great opportunity to work as a Ramp Agent, based at London Heathrow Airport.

Working on the Ramp, you will be loading bags onto the ramp and into the hold of the aircraft, roping off the engines, directing traffic, ensuring all doors are secured, attach stairs, operate other ground machinery as required, and prepare for aircraft arrival and departure.

Working on the belt, you will be loading baggage onto carts and scanning the bags as they come down the chutes from check in, ensuring all bags are loaded correctly and quickly and scanned properly.

Candidate
Candidates will be involved in the following daily tasks:
Air-side driving
Operating ground Machinery including Hi loaders, Conveyors, Ramp snakes, Tugs, Rollabeds, Flat beds
Baggage loading/off load working in bellies of aircraft

All candidates must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, as heavy lifting is involved.
You be expected to carry out demanding tasks within a fast paced and varied weathered environment.
The position will start as soon as possible and will include full training. Please note that car parking will be allocated but not while you are on training.

Hours
There will be early and late shift work involved. Shift examples are between 4 am and 11pm so flexibility is required. There will also be the opportunity to do split shifts to increase your hours, as well as overtime hours if available. Generally you will be working on a 7 on 3 off, 7 on 4 off shift pattern.
We can offer varied hours on a fixed term contract basis with our Client.

Salary and Benefits
£26,000 per year including shift pay

Candidates must have a full clean UK drivers license and a clean criminal record with a 5 year work history.
