Ram Consultant

My client is a leading independent consultancy and software company dedicated to the design, operation and management of hydrocarbon processing facilities worldwide, generating value and reducing risk by empowering our clients with advice and technology. Due to ongoing expansion they are looking to recruit RAM Consultants of all levels to work in their South East office

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Consulting in RAM performance management and improvement systems
Project Management of RAM programs
Development of ongoing business opportunities at existing customers
Development of new business opportunities

RESPONSIBILITIES

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Provide management consulting services to assist clients in the Organizational Change Management process
Reviews client processes and management systems and develop solutions for continuous improvement.
Able to handle different management projects and lead the team towards successful implementation.
Perform risk analysis and manage change control
Develop performance support systems
Deliver project improvements through workshop training and implementation support
Able to provide project management and technical expertise featuring on the following RAM practices:

Essential:
Maintenance Strategy and departmental alignment skills
Risk Management and decision making
Routine Maintenance work process
Turnaround Maintenance works process and optimization

Advantageous:
Maintenance planning and scheduling (SAP experience a plus)
Asset management strategy and Defect Elimination methodologies
Contracting strategy development and Inventory optimization

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
Develop good client relationships to listen and understand their needs while gaining their trust as well as how to deliver our products in line with our practices and in a cost effective manner
Managing client relationships/expectations associated with training development and project deliverables accomplishment
Communicates with client at all levels (working to executive level) in order to ensure streamlined execution, and that scope of work is well understood as well as foster larger leadership role in client relationship management
Ensures the client receives the assistance needed to implement recommendations /solutions
Responsible for /contribution to the preparation of reports for clients and can lead efforts for presentations
Development of next step business opportunities at existing clients

SALES AND MARKETING SUPPORT
Assist with proposal development which includes scoping and cost estimation
Meet potential clients and demonstrate to them on the products and capabilities
Conducts market research and formulate strategies to identify new markets and clients

COMPANY BUSINESS
Ability to support projects for other product lines
Build/maintain awareness of other product lines
Mentoring of subordinate staff
Actively support company Knowledge Management
Represent company and present papers at industrial conferences

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Chemical or related subjects
Experience in Oil and Gas/Petrochemicals/Upstream gas processing industry
Experience in plant maintenance, operations, and turnarounds.
Involved in development and implementation of management systems for operational excellence/internal improvements
Experience in Refinery/Petrochemical/Upstream processes and operations is essential.
Must be fluent in English, other language capability is bonus

Advantageous:
Conversant with usage and application of RAM and CMMS related soft ware (SAP a plus)
International travel – up to 50% of time, typical trip duration 2-3 weeks
