Railway Signalling & Telecoms Lead

The Role:

To provide technical leadership to our client’s Railway Signaling and Telecoms team, nurture Railway Signaling and Telecoms skills within the team and help in developing business in this area. Deliver consistently in a project environment to a high technical standard, meeting client expectations.

In terms of location, candidates can be based anywhere in the UK but they must be willing to travel because this role will be split between working at home and visiting clients. The vast majority of clients are based in London, with some in Birmingham, Milton Keynes and York. The successful candidate will be expected to spend approximately 60% of their time visiting clients and 40% working from home.

Our client is a well-established and rapidly expanding railway consultancy that delivers successful projects to their valued customers and provides a wide range of services that include rail operations planning and management, architecture and master planning, engineering, systems and safety engineering and cost management.

Job Requirements:

•Engineering Degree.
•Candidates must be chartered engineers and be members of appropriate an institution.
•Knowledge of Railway Signaling Principles and current and future signaling technology, EG. ERTMS and CBTC.
•The successful candidate must have leadership qualities and be able to work independently or equally in a team.
•Minimum of 5 years experience in the Railway industry.
•Must be able to demonstrate competency and project experience within their technical area of expertise.
•Must be able to demonstrate delivery and leadership skills within a Rail project environment.
