Company information: Due to a large increase in work load this well established national interiors contractor has secured a number contracts for 2014 and are requiring an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join them early in the year.

This company is renowned for delivering high quality specification suspended ceilings and partitioning for the retail and commercial property industries, with prestigious clients such as Nike, Selfridges and various top-end hotel chains.

Key Skills required:

Evaluation of contract documentation

Variations and Valuations

Liaison with the main contractor and the client

Liaison with subcontractors

Settlement of final accounts

Measurements on site.

monitoring & progression reports

Flexibility on working hours

On going and Post contract administration.

Working within a customer focused team.

Good at problem solving and providing effective solutions to the clients and the delivery team.

Proficient in the use of Excel.

This is an exciting and challenging role for an individual who wants to develop their career, with scope to develop in to a Managing Surveyor’s role.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the fit-out sector.

The client is offering up to £40,000 basic salary with a company car, a pension scheme after 6 months’ continuous employment and BUPA healthcare.
