My client, a global leader in contamination control, is looking to hire an experienced Quality Control professional to manage, plan, coordinate and direct quality control and microbiological programmes in accordance to ISO and EU cGMP regulatory requirements. This is a good opportunity for someone to join a fast growing, ambitious company and have a direct impact on the overall success of the contamination control part of the business.

Roles and Responsibilities:

– Oversee the daily running of QC and Microbiology departments
– Liaise with the Supplier Quality Engineer to address issues with incoming materials
– Ensure sufficient stocks are kept for testing
– Conduct internal audits
– Perform duties in accordance to principals of cGMP/cGLP and safe working practice
– Identify and maintain record of in-house contaminants

Skills and Experience

– Background in Chemistry preferably both practical and educational
– Experience in a GMP, ISO 13485/9001 regulated environment
– Ideally will have audit experience/lead auditor training
– Previous Quality Control experience involving chemical blending is advantageous
– Experience of line management, ideally of a team of 3 and above
