Monday to Friday 37 Hours a week – 8.30am to 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday.
Quality Assurance Manager required for a market leading and successful food manufacturing company. The company are offering a challenging varied role in a growing and expanding company supplying to some of the UK’s leading supermarkets.
The Quality Assurance Manager role will be suited to a candidate with previous experience working within the food manufacturing industry. Previous experience leading and implementing quality systems is required, ensuring BRC and SQMS standards are maintained across the site.
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the overall QA operations on site and supporting a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the site. You will oversee one Quality Technologist and will divide your time appropriately between the office and production floor.
You will be responsible for resolving any non-conformances and customer complaints, ensuring root cause analysis is carried out and corrective measures are implemented. The company carry out both internal and external lab testing so you will be also involved in carrying out sampling and reviewing test results, putting into place corrective actions as and when needed.
In the next 12 months you will play an integral role in ensuring the company meets their QA targets to hit a minimum A grade in their BRC audit and pass audits from those they supply to.
This is a great opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager from a food manufacturing background to head the quality department for the Hitchin site of supplier of products to retailers on a national basis.
