Quality Assurance Lead

Salary: £14.4 per hour

Leading international Pharmaceutical Manufacturer seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Lead.

About the role:

Reporting to the Quality Director the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the manufacturing QA team and assuring the sites compliance with GxP regulations for the supply of Parenteral Nutrition.

The successful individual will organize and promote site quality and compliance improvement efforts as part of the Quality Leadership Team, working closely with the other members of the Quality Leadership Team the successful candidate will drive and influence site compliance and the broader Quality Culture across the organization. This position will drive cGMP Compliance improvements through a quality and continuous improvement culture.

Skills and experience:

• Previous experience leading a Quality Assurance function, within a pharmaceutical sterile manufacturing site
• Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal and influence skills in pharmaceutical industry (preferably within specials manufacture), with the proven ability to teach and coach individuals from diverse backgrounds with varying communication and technical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in a related scientific discipline.
• Strong knowledge of GxP regulations / industry expectations for Quality Management System processes and associated systems, especially MHRA Guidance for Specials Manufacture
• Understanding of IT applications and development processes per International Standards
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to work collaboratively using risk-based, proactive approaches to operations problem-solving
• Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills for both strategic and tactical messages
