What is Unique about this setting?

Lime Grove has achieved double outstanding Ofsted grading, the nursery can hold up to 97 children. This nursery is located close to Hemel town Centre, this is also very close to the train station. Lime grove is a purpose built nursery that has newly been refurbished. The nursery has a huge garden with a decking area attached to it for the children to access.

What would be expected of me?

Kangacrew are officially working in partnership with Childbase times 100 employer as their sole provider of relief/bank/Supply staff to all Childbase settings throughout the UK. At request of Childbase, Kangacrew are actively seeking professionals who can adapt to the Childbase practices and core values and have the passion and dedication for childcare, you do not have to have a childcare qualification to work with us, but it is important that you;

Have an understanding or interest in learning of the Safeguarding policy and procedure and to be able to implement it if required.
Interact with children through play and during care routines at all times.
Carry out room routines and daily activities based on children’s individual interests and development based on the Childbase Approach at the Nursery Managers request.
Ensure a safe and stimulating child led environment, both indoors and outdoors, is provided on a daily basis
Apply consistent behaviour management strategies.
Meet the learning and developmental needs of children
Understand that communication forms a key part of working in partnership and it is not just about the words you use, but also your manner of speaking, body language and above all the effectiveness with which you listen.
Respond to all parental requests in line with the Childbase policies, support and respect their needs.
Share necessary knowledge, information and ideas with other professionals and colleagues about children’s development in consultation with your Nursery Management Team.
Attend staff meetings at Management request
Act as a role model to support less experienced staff and ensure staff feel able to ask for your support and advice.
