Pvcu Fabricator

Looking for Experienced PVc Fabricator to work in the Threemilestone Area for an intial 6 months contract and you will be working independently or as part of a team to manufacture, upgrade, install and carry out responsive repairs to various windows, doors & screens.

You will need to:

* undertake the Manufacture of PVCu Windows & Doors
* undertake the Service & Security Upgrade of PVCu Windows & Doors
* undertake the Installation of PVCu Windows & Doors
* operate specialist factory machinery, plant and tools & equipment
* comply with Cornwall housing’s vehicle policy including weekly vehicle check
* comply with all Health & Safety & C.O.S.H.H legislation ensuring all work areas including tenants homes are kept tidy & safe
* to work out of hours rota
* to be familiar & work in accordance with sections Internal Quality Management Systems to ensure continued compliance with BS EN ISO 9000:2008

Must have:

* NVQ Level 3 in Fenestration or assoicated on job training & development with existing or previous employer is essential
* excellent literacy, numeracacy and communication skills to enable to communicate with customers and team memebers
* proven experience of manufacturing and installation of PVCu windows and doors, and servicing (responsive service calls)
* proven experience of using PVCu workshop machinery and hand held and power tools
* flexibility to participate in the out of hours emergency rota
* knowledge of varying PVCu profile systems and associated furniture and hardware essential

You will be factory or site based in customers homes and you may have to work in inclement weather or dirty properties and could be exposed to dust, noise, vibration and increased temperature associated with PVCu manufacturing machinery and processes.

Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am-4.30pm Friday 9am-2.45pm
