Purchasing Assistant / Progress Chaser

Our client have been operational since 1932 and are a leading design and engineering company in their field working and supplying worldwide..
From their modern manufacturing plant and offices based in Ilkleythey are currently looking to expand their team by recruiting a Purchasing Assistant who will also be involved with Order Progressing.
This will involve:-
Calling suppliers to confirm receipt of order & confirmation of delivery dates.
Saving order confirmations and updating the confirmed delivery date on the Company business system
Sending email orders to suppliers until a new and improved system is operational.
Updating confirmation orders on the Company business system once invoices are approved by Purchasing or relevant Project Manager.
Day to day admin.
Salary: £26,000per year
