Purchase Ledger Administrator (Textiles)

Are you an administrator with experience of Purchase Ledger Clerk or similar with good Excel skills looking for a stable and secure role within a thriving heritage textile manufacturer who are known for their excellent working environment and friendly culture?

On a daily basis you will be responsible for assisting the finance team with the accounts, processing purchase ledger invoices, foreign exchange transactions, reconciling and matching supplier invoices. This is an office-based role, Mon – Fri, with free parking available.

This role would suit an administrator with some knowledge of accounting and Excel who is keen to learn and develop, there is the potential for progression for an ambitious candidate

The Role:

• FX Transactions
• Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable
• Process Purchase Invoices Match Purchase Orders to Purchase Invoices accurately
• Post Invoices onto the Purchase Ledger
• Send out and retrieve invoices for approval
• Investigate and resolve all queries before posting
• Provide full detail of transaction, department, cost type for Directors to see so they can quickly approve
• Post and monitor stock in transit invoices

The Person:

• Experience preferred but not essential
• Computer literate, Excel knowledge
