Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for:
3 x Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (Equivalent to NHS Band 5)
Salary £26,400 – £30,000depending on experience
1 x Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (Equivalent to NHS Band 6)
Salary £26,400 – £30,000- £28,000 depending on experience

As a result of a recognised need to provide support for Veterans and their families experiencing mild to moderate depression, anxiety and other common mental health issues, we are setting up a new and innovative ‘Step 2’ low intensity evidence based psychotherapy service. This development has resulted in four new and exciting full-time opportunities for enthusiastic and dynamic qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) to work within the unit.

All posts will carry a clinical caseload of patients, with the Senior post also having leadership and supervision responsibilities for the other 3 PWP posts, and new appointees as the service expands further.

All candidates should either be accredited as a PWP with the BABCP, on the British Psychological Society Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Register or be willing to obtain this status within four months, which will be a condition of employment.
