Project Quality Engineer
12-month Contract
Cumbria
Up to £49 per hour, inside IR35
iO Associates are working in partnership with one of the leading global infrastructure companies headquartered in the UK and with experience in infrastructure investments, support services, and construction services. Currently we are recruiting for a Project Quality Engineer with previous nuclear experience to join us on an initial 12-month contract.
As a Project Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing Quality Plans and Inspection and Test
Plans; undertaking associated compliance verification activities as appropriate, conducting quality audits and ensuring quality standards are met across the project.
Key skills/Experience required:
- Sellafield/Nuclear experience working in a QA function or QC function with development into QA via lead audit and CQI membership.
- Oversight of subcontractors, compilation and review of lifetime records.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems and Sellafield CQRM.
- Maintenance of package status & progress reporting, raising issues and liaising with the project and client QA/QC team
