Salary: £60,000 – £72,000 per year

South East England / Flexible / Remote

We have a permanent full-time position available immediately in our Projects Team, for a high-quality Project Manager.
To be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of multiple audio visual and video conferencing integration projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Day to day running of allocated projects from receipt of order through to client handover and training, working closely with internal departments and procedures.
• Responsibility to ensure that allocated projects are completed, and within agreed timescales.
• Ability to run several projects at the same time.
• Responsibility for the maintenance of all project paperwork. This will include project programmes, mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, health and safety documentation and project status reports.
• Attendance at Site Meetings as required.
• Manage the project budget, proactively monitoring changes to project scope, identifying potential problems and devising contingency plans
• Produce and issue reports on project progress and minimise the company’s exposure to risk and financial loss during the project lifecycle
• Maintain an awareness of, and compliance with, the company’s Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Open up and maintain effective channels of communication with stakeholders, project teams and 3rd party contractors throughout the project
• Technical support to the sales department, on occasions

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience
• Qualification in project management (Prince 2, PMP etc.) an advantage
• Avixa CTS required
• CAD experience, an advantage
• In-depth understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of project management
• Fully conversant with project management techniques and tools
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Project Management role
• A demonstrable track record in delivering multiple concurrent, high-value AV/VC projects
• Lateral thinking and problem solving skills
• Planning, coordination and organisation
• Decision-making and communication skills
• Team working and customer service skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
• An awareness of new and emerging technologies
• An in-depth understanding of AV technology theory
