Project Manager

Project Manager – Hampshire (UK wide) – £35-£40k + Car/Car Allowance

Our client is currently seeking an ambitious and motivated Project Manager within the cladding sector who is looking for a role that they can really make their own.The successful candidate will be driven and looking for a challenging role where opportunities for progression are not limited, you will be comfortable both dealing with senior executives and rolling your sleeves up and being hands on when needed and will suit someone who wants a varied role. Experience of working within the cladding, panelling, envelope contractor sector or similar within the construction industry is essential. You will be contractually based in South Hampshire however you will be responsible for projects uk wide therefore frequent travel within the UK and working away from home is part of this role.This is a smaller company so no two days are the same and demands will vary from a day-to-day basis.You will be responsible for delivering high value projects and will need an excellent knowledge of the roofing and cladding sector.

Your role will include:

Responsible for successful delivery of projects on time and in budget
Running multiple projects simultaneously
Manage sub-contract labour
Oversee all works and run a clean and functioning site
Liaising and constantly communicating with management team and sub-contractors
Developing relationships with customers and suppliers
Providing technical and design input using CAD
Keeping tabs on the financial aspect of the projects

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Experience within Project Management, capable of managing multiple tasks
Excellent prioritisation skills with the ability to keep calm under pressure.
Extensive knowledge of roofing and cladding systems
Interpersonal Skills, must be comfortable operating independently within a customer environment
Excellent time management and organisational skills
First class communicator able to communicate well and liaise with other colleagues overseas
Well presented and professional at all times
A professional manner and appearance at all times, with a good sense of humour and a positive outlook.
Willingness to travel on a frequent basis
