As part of this role you will input into the development of the Lighting and Grid PFI growth plan. Working closely with the Contract Managers and 3rd party business team in building effective and beneficial relationships with existing and new customers.

You will be expected to establish, develop and manage key relationships with customers (both current and potential) to assist in the delivery of the Lighting and Grid business growth plan and maximise profitability. To proactively interface with different areas of the E.ON business and maintain clear and effective communication links to help promote lighting and grid in the wider business.

Key activities include building strong customer relationships, executing the Annual Investment Programme, maintaining the Lighting and Grid Integrated Management system, achieving sales and financial targets, identifying process improvements, promoting the business locally and assessing and enhancing customer service levels.

What we need from you

  • Operated in a commercial environment, with a track record of developing key customer relationships.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • A proven track record of delivering sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • An understanding of the key issues & challenges relating to ICP Connections.
  • Numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and produce it in a clear and logical format.
  • In-depth financial and commercial awareness with the ability to communicate these to others to ensure that commercial implications of actions are recognised and understood.
  • The ability to make decisions and meet tight deadlines.
  • The ability to self motivate as an individual and at team level.
  • A pro-active and creative approach to problem solving.
  • Oral and written communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to take a confident and diplomatic approach with staff, colleagues and customers
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear concise reports.
  • A working knowledge of mainframe and PC based computer systems and the ability to adapt quickly to changes to those systems

It would be great if you have

  • A relevant engineering e.g. HNC, ONC.
