Job purpose

You will be required to be the voice of the customer within the business supporting the Head of Programmes. As part of a team you will be responsible for ensuring effective programme management within the business. Providing robust communications to all parties and utilising your position to maximize the Company’s offerings to customers.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the Head of Programmes in delivering to customers and partner expectations for assigned projects.
• Act as a single point contact for specific projects as designated by the Head of Programmes
• Contribute to the alignment of the customer’s requirements and aspirations to ensure that quality, delivery timescales and project targets are achieved.
• Provide a supporting role to ensure all projects within your area of responsibility are properly planned, organised, directed and monitored to meeting customer requirements including budgeted costs and agreed timescales. This will also include: estimated cost to complete, invoicing issues, monthly status reports and performance schedules.
• Ensure Project activities are expedited effectively and support the delivery of programmes in accordance with customer expectations.
• Co-ordinate and provide support in the management and mitigation of project risks
• Work with internal departments to ensure potential risks are identified and solutions planned.
• Ensure projects are administered correctly on to the Ultra ERP system (IFS).
• Monthly Preparation and Submission of data, including Estimated Cost-To-Complete (ECTC) exercises to support the Head of Programmes at Monthly Program Review Meetings with SMT
• As required present to, and visit, key Customers
• Support and provide input to presentations to Key Customers.
• Contribute towards achievement of departmental KPIs.

Personal attributes

You should be a good communicator and used to working in a dynamic environment. You should preferably have experience in the aerospace industry preferably with Engineering background and experience in an Engineering Programme Management environment.

You will have experience in working under pressure with an organised approach and focused on delivering on time. Communicating at all levels you should be able listen to your customers’ needs and provide feedback and support to the Head of Programmes and Head of Engineering as required.
You should be proficient in Microsoft Office user and the ability to use an ERP system would be an advantage.
