Our Client is looking to recruit 3x Production Technicians to join their business.
Production Technician
Role specification
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Role Type: Full time
Working Hours: 8am – 5pm Monday to Thursday // 8am – 3.45pm Fridays
Responsibilities/Tasks of a Production Technician
The primary function of the Production Technician is to assemble Mini-Cam products in accordance with the Company’s processes.
* Build and assemble our client products pre-builds, assemblies and finished goods as advised by the Production Planner and Production Supervisor in line with Company procedures & instructions
* Pick parts required as per a works order from Sage
* Use our client tools and equipment in line with instructions
* Check work to ensure that products meet our quality requirements
* Monitor stock levels of parts used and advise the Purchasing Coordinator where stock levels look low
* Take part in biannual Company stock takes
* Assist with goods in where required, counting parts, checking counts back to delivery notes and placing stock in its designated location
Requirements of a Production Technician
Critical
* Demonstratable skill in assembling and building equipment
* Experience in a manufacturing business
* Ability to work well solely or within a team
* Attention to detail and ability to self-monitor quality of work
Desirable
* HNC Engineering or equivalent qualification
