Production Technical Coordinator / CAD Draftsperson

Our client, based close to Failsworth, is looking for a Production Technical Coordinator/CAD Draftsperson. This is a challenging and varied role so we are looking for a quick thinker with common sense and an agile mind.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced, dynamic Technical Coordinator/CAD Draftsperson to work for an expanding manufacturing company. We are looking for a creative approach to projects and someone who can take ownership and responsibility for their activities.

Ideally you will have experience in metal working and/or retail design. This is a role where you will need to hit the ground running and work unsupervised so a good level of experience is essential.

Main duties to include:

• Working with Solid Works or Inventor CAD packages
• Building relationships with clients
• Coordinate, manage and take ownership of projects
• Working to tight deadlines
• Producing original designs for high value, high spend customers
• Liaising with suppliers and internal departments
• Produce reports and communicate to management and customers

We are looking for:

• Experience in a similar role
• Experience of working in retail design or metal working
• Experience of Solid Works or Inventor
• Someone who is proactive and ambitious
• Someone who is highly determined and motivated
• An effective relationship builder with excellent communication skills
• Project management experience
