Production Supervisor (Liquid Filling)

Our client, a very successful manufacturing company based in Bungay is currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their growing team.

Responsibilities include:-

• Ensure all lines are running to optimum capacity and to quality standards
• Workforce planning to ensure the right number of people are allocated to the right duties
• Manage the Team Leaders, packers and co-workers within the production area to achieve optimum results at the highest standards at all time.
o Motivate your team to achieve optimum results
o Take an active role in staff development of team leaders by planning development activities and interventions and coordinating and reviewing training programmes
• Interpret specifications and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
• Assist the production manager in the daily running of work procedures to meet deadlines.
• Ensure assembly of finished goods is to the specification and quality standards
• Validate and check all quality control paperwork
• Verify rejects form line and daily reporting of production output
• Communicate daily and directly to your line manager in order to understand operational targets and to discuss any shortfalls from the previous working day and equipment faults or failures are highlighted immediately engineering.
• Cover production manager on annual leave/absence including attending meetings as required.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Analyse and resolves work problems.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Team Leader / Supervisor within a manufacturing environment. You will have the ability to work as part of a team, as well as be self-motivated!

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of Microsoft packages, including excel and work along with a good statistical and numerical ability! You will possess good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to motivate and influence people.
