Salary: £36,000 – £43,200 per year
Our client, a leading Food Processor, is looking for an experienced Production Planning Manager to join the team at their site in South Wales.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the post-holder will be responsible for delivering effective production plans. Working as part of a small team, the Planning will take responsibility for planning an efficient and effective production operation that delivers on high company, and customer, expectations.
Role / Responsibilities:
* Completing Daily Lines Plan to meet customer requirements – taking into account production capacity and vehicle load out times.
* Liaising and coordinating all aspects of line planning with intakes, production and despatch.
* Reconciling finished goods and work in progress.
* Forecasting daily customer requirements
Applicants must have a proven track record of success in a similar role, within a fast moving chilled food environment. They also must have an excellent understanding of processes and production flow, coupled with strong leadership and communication skills – helping them communicate their vision. The post holder will have an ability to react to changes in the production plan and be able to demonstrate a very analytical approach. Finally, you must have a good level of IT literacy, an excellent working knowledge of Excel is essential to be considered for this role. Working knowledge of planning software would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive basic salary of between £36,000 – £43,200(dependant on experience). This is an exciting time to join a growing business with an excellent reputation.
