Production Planner

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year

Climb Recruitment are currently working with a leading company in the Sheffield area

Role: Production Planner

Duties and Responsibilities:

∙ Produce works orders and routes in accordance with customer’s instructions, (sales and transfer) through internal and external process.

∙ Ensure visibility of customer orders and associated production routes together with all manufacturing steps.

∙ Plan and schedule material processing orders to ensure accurate time scale is provided to individual departments.

∙ Consume stock tags and produce finished tags.

∙ Raise hire work purchase orders and production permits to ensure sub-contractors are supplied with accurate and concise information.

∙ Raise non-conformance reports as required and ensure corrective / preventative actions are implemented.

∙ Create working specifications to ensure material is produced and certified to customer specifications.

∙ Processing the production of orders through all the departments on site.

∙ Demonstrate an understanding of fault finding and corrective actions

Job Requirements:

∙ Previous experience of working in an Engineering/Manufacturing environment.

∙ Knowledge of computer databases and manufacturing processes an advantage.

∙ Knowledge of material specifications.

∙ Knowledge of sub-contractors operations and processes.

Full time and Permanent

37.5 working hours per week

Monday to Thursday 8.30 – 5pm

Friday 8.30 – 3.30pm
