Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for production operatives in Catterick , this role is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right person ,Starting Hourly rates £11.50 39 hours a week Monday to Thursday – 8-4-30 Friday – 8- 3-30 Set up and adjust production polyurethane and foam machines, and monitor them for most economical use and report issues immediately to the production manager. Load chemicals into machines either by hand or using lifting equipment and fork lift trucks. Act as a link in a chain that involves manufacturing processes and other operators. Test and measure finished products, and record activities and manufacturing levels.Ability to follow written and spoken instructionsCommunication skills – ability to understand and communicate information is essentialGood numeracy and literacy skillsExcellent Team working skillsAbility to work quickly and methodicallyCapable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closelyAbility to use necessary tools and machinesGood understanding of manufacturing processes, including polyurethane and foam.UK Full Driving LicenceNice to HavesQA/QC experience/Product InspectionUnderstanding of manufacturing drawingsForklift Truck LicenceFirst Aid Certificate Kelly Services are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this role.
