Production Operative

Salary: £26,000 per year

My clients are a manufacturer of door solutions, a premium worldwide brand for polymer-based innovations and systems in construction, automotive and furniture industry. We are now looking urgently for a Production Operative to join the production team.

Monday-Friday 8am start – 39 hours per week

Starting annual salary of £26,000

£26,000if you have FLT and stock control exoerience.

Responsibilities include:

• Working on the assembly line and producing our products based on specific measurements, calculations, drawings or instructions.
• Packing boxes, loading and unloading materials and finished goods and adhering to safety protocols.
• Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects.
• Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections on the assembly line to Management.
• Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.
• Goods in/out
• Inventory and stock control

Your Profile:

• Previous experience in this type of role.
• Able to work individually and as part of a team.
• Takes pride in your work.
• The ability to understand and receive instructions.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to lift heavy pieces of equipment (within safety guidelines);
• Ability to work on one’s own initiative.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations.
• A forklift licence would be an advantage.
• A solid understanding of production machinery and proper assembly procedures would be an advantage, but not essential.
• Ideally have previous experience in goods in/out, inventory and stock control
