Our client based in Leeds who is a household name needs skilled people like you to join the team as a Production Operative and become part of a massive and exciting new project in the modular homes industry, they want to take on people to grow within the company and develop their skills even further.
HOURS – rotating shifts
AM – 6:00 – 14.10 Monday – Friday
PM – 14:00 – 12.30 Monday – Thursday
SALARY £28,800per annum
HOLIDAYS 25 days PLUS bank holidays!
What actually is the role?
As a production op your main duties will include assembly operations, material control / movement and process verification. collaborating across Production, Engineering and Logistics to ensure the delivery of the highest quality modules to time.
you will be trained in specific activities working together to produce quality work in all aspects working to Cycle times (TAKT).
Focus on the quality of your work and ensure everything is completed up to standard, complying with company health and safety policies.
To be successful you need to be very aware of the safety of yourself and others around you whilst in the workplace – conducting safety checks is a vital part of the role.What is required for me to Apply?
Always keep in mind company policies and procedures in regards to quality of your work safety and well-being of your team.
a qualification or a years experience in DIY, construction or manufacturing skill.
good written and verbal literacy and numeracy skills.
A successful production operative will be resilient and stay organised, timekeeping is a must.
A passion for not only quality work but the safety of yourself and colleagues.
