Can you Assemble read from Technical Drawings?

Are you skilled in Soldering?

This is a great opportunity for a Production Operative to join a growing manufacturing department for an established company.

Key competencies for the Production Operative are as follows:

Assembly of product un-supervised
Soldering skills is a MUST!
TIG Welding would be advantageous but not essential
Implement corrective / preventative actions
Working from drawings you must have the ability to interpret engineering component drawings
Basic Testing experience including probe calibration, instrument tests and pressure tests – not essential but is a nice to have.

The Production Operative should be able to hit the ground running and take up the slack on new projects to manufacture as business gets busier and more orders come in. As a Production Operative you will be exposed to a variety of engineering projects and thus have the opportunity to pick up new skills on the job.

It’s a relaxed and comfortable culture therefore we are looking for a competent Production Operative who is experienced and skilled in assembly of engineering components, testing, soldering.

The Production Operative will be working to industry standards in soldering practices working from technical drawings you will be required to solder and assemble jumpers, hose, connections, cables and junctions.

It would be advantageous for the Production Operative to have clear knowledge of Health and safety standards and COSHH requirements.

If you have knowledge of IPC-610 or J standards this is an advantage.
