Production Operative

Are you available immediately?
Can you be completely flexible in your working hours? (This position does require night work)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our client based on the outskirts of Newmarket for a production operative.

This is key role and you will be responsible for keeping a 24 hour operation running smoothly. The ability to work alone and under your own initiative is essential.

Main duties will include:

Mixing products to an exact specification using a computerised system
Distributing products to the production floor to ensure machines are fully functional at all times.
Cleaning used containers ready to be refilled
Quality control of mixed products
Managing stock levels and keeping stores organised and tidy
The post holder will be happy to work a variety of shifts, these will include 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm and once fully trained you must be happy to work 6 -6 shifts on both a day and night rota.

A shift allowance will be granted for this,, and as this is a temporary to permanent position, your pay will be reviewed after a probationary period and the successful candidate could achieve up to £33,600 per annum based on performance.

Due to the location of my client, it is essential you have your own transport and be fully flexible in your availability. You must be able to read, write and communicate to a high standard using the English language and you must also be happy to deal with the Client directly. A good level of customer service is essential.
