Production & Continuous Improvement Training Officer

We are currently looking for a Production & Continuous Improvement Training Officer to join our client in the Abingdon, Oxfordshire area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Developing, documenting & implementing a robust process for the training of Production Operators & Team Leaders which is ISO9001 compliant
– Implementing & administering an effective product training framework for Production Operatives & Team Leaders
– Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Production and Supplier Management to effect robust training plans
– Issuing and managing the supply of Operator & Team Leader’ certificates of product training competency and supply/review training log books
– Developing training plans tailored for Each Operator / Team Leader and communicating progress
– Administering all IPC training within the business
– Managing Electro Static discharge training
– Auditing and reporting as to the effective implementation and maintenance of all training

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

– Minimum HNC in an Engineering discipline
– Prior training coordination and continuous improvement experience
– Minimum 5 years post graduate or post apprenticeship experience
– Training and coaching background
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to support staff on their development journey

The working hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday.

The salary of £42/k annum is on offer.
