Salary: £60,000 – £72,000 per year

Product Manager – Polymers and Chemicals

A genuine market leader, number 1 globally in their technology application, is looking to appoint a Product Manager to own a product P and L on a global basis. This organisation design, develop, manufacture and sell industrial equipment and consumables to some of the world’s most recognisable brands.

The Client & Role | Who Are They?

The role will see you take full accountability for the product lifecycle, right from the development phase through to launch and product maturation. You will be actively involved in customer engagement and research, concept, design, supplier selection, testing, mass production, launch and customer support. You will lead pricing and forecasting activities. All of this will be driven by your strategic plan and marketing activities.

The Candidate | What Are We Looking For?

To be considered for this role you will have experience marketing and brand development, and have broad experience of product marketing, ideally with international experience. A background in polymers or chemistry would be advantageous but not essential, what is essential however is experience of B2B marketing in an industrial environment.

For the right applicant, this role will give you the opportunity to travel the globe (when it’s allowed again) and develop your commercial skills whilst dealing with some of the best know technology brands. It’s a platform for growth both for you personally, and professionally. This is a market leader and this business only maintains its position through performance, as such the expectations around delivery are high and it is not a business in which you can coast or hide so if you’re comfortable with your career level and not looking to grow or develop further this might not be the role for you.
