Help us make a difference as a Process, Quality and Information Manager.

The Process, Quality and Information Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing and ensuring full compliance & control the Information Flows across the Contract
  • Reviewing and monitoring the Springboard and PDA systems to ensure they are fully functional and accessible during operational hours with any concerns being directed to BM’s or OM’s.
  • Overseeing and ensuring prompt responses to all requests received via the Council CRM system and feedback any relevant information received from the crews.
  • Managing and reporting on KPIs agreed with the Council as well as internal Biffa targets.
  • Arranging and recording joint inspection visits and audits with members of any Management teams and support service.
  • Assisting in the management of a self-monitoring system that meets the individual Council’s requirements, but also ensuring schedules are up to date and efficient, for example street cleansing data. Audit fly tipping processes and accuracy of recording against invoice data.

  • Developing and managing an intelligent scheduling system for ad hoc works such as bin deliveries and bulky waste collections so that we can deliver such services in partnership with the Council through a single point of contact from the customer.
  • Producing all reports as required within the Specification to the Council including detailed evaluation of further initiatives that maybe trialled.
  • Assisting the Councils in the preparation of any application for grant funding in connection with environmental benefits.
  • Working with management to carry out street cleansing inspections / regimes as and when required in accordance with the specification and adjust schedules as required after reconciling against BOQ’s and service specification.
  • Overseeing tonnage data input ensuring weight data has been inputted daily for all waste material collected and handled across the Partnership and analysis of data to support SLA and KPI’s.
  • Attending Partnership Meetings and record actions and manage /document completions and actions taken.
  • Reviewing Insurance procedures and reporting throughout the Contract ensure compliance and accurate financial accruals are being reported

Requirements

Here’s what we require:

  • Proven track record of working to clearly defined service delivery KPI’s
  • Proven track record of delivering continuous improvement within an operational / service environment
  • Experience of producing and analysing reports using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Reports are generally prepared in Excel and the applicants must be able to use Pivot tables and formulas in Excel.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of working within a time critical service environment
  • IT literate – comfortable using business software and systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to influence and persuade people
  • Interpersonal skills /assertiveness
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Organised with the ability to simplify complex issues
  • Analytical with the ability to measure & monitor data and take appropriate corrective action
  • Able to able to communicate at all levels, both in verbal & written form
