£25k to £35k basic + Bonus + Benefits
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Process Engineer to join the Engineering Team of a global manufacturing business based in Bradford. This opportunity has been identified due to recent expansion of the business alongside a number of global contracts due to go live in the near future.
The successful individual will have the following responsibilities and qualities:
– Responsible for maintaining and controlling works documentation.
– A can do attitude with the ability to identify and communicate opportunities to improve Cost/Quality/Delivery.
– Ability to participate in multi-functional teams to achieve desired results.
– Maintain high levels of professionalism and positive work ethic.
– To achieve the established performance objectives.
– Constant adherence to quality and environmental standards.
– Involvement in Capital investment projects (£10K to £500K) from original idea, financial justification through to implementation.
– The generation of manufacturing data.
– Formulation & implementation of improvement ideas to improve Costs, Quality, Delivery and Safety.
– Identify potential solutions to problems.
– Ensuring safe working practices are designed into all processes.
– Interaction at all levels within the organisation to produce and be accountable for the desired results.
To be considered or this position you will have the following experience and skills:
– Mechanical Engineering Apprentice trained
– A good practical experience of Lean manufacturing principles
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, relating well to all kinds of people in all areas, and at all levels throughout the company.
– An ability to prioritise their own workload to meet customer and project requirements
– Excellent decision making and problem solving skills and the ability to learn quickly
– An ability to deal with ambiguity and an awareness of possible outcomes
In return for your skills and expertise you can expect to receive a salary in the region of £30,000 – £42,000 dependant on your level of relevant experience. You will also receive a generous pension scheme and benefits package.
