Private Client Tax Manager

Salary: £60,000 – £72,000 per year

Our client is seeking a Private Client Tax Manager to join their Newbury team

This is an exciting opportunity to join their well-respected Private Client tax team in one their Thames Valley offices. This role requires an experienced Tax professional and would suit an experienced Tax Manager or a well-established senior looking for their next step up.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of private clients to include business owners, partnerships and high net worth individuals.
• Undertake a mixture of compliance and advisory work.
• Dealing with HMRC enquiries and related work,
• Reviewing work in progress and raising fees as appropriate.
• Developing and training junior staff.

The Person

• To be considered for this role you will be an experienced CTA Qualified Private Client professional with excellent knowledge of UK income and capital taxes.
• Some employment taxes experience would be beneficial but not essential.
• In addition, you will need to demonstrate strong communication and relationship management skills.
