A Principal Systems Engineer – IT Development / Support with VMWare ESXi, Citrix XenApp 6, Oracle 11g, SAN Storage, Server Virtualisation, Network Storage, application virtualisation (streaming) is required to work on a six month contract with the possibility of an extension for our Defence client based in Luton.

This is a six month contract with a leading UK defence company.

Overview of the Principal Systems Engineer – IT Development / Support contract role

An IT Development/Support Engineer is required with a broad skill base including server virtualisation (VMWare), network storage, backup, active directory and application virtualisation (streaming). The engineer will need to develop processes and patch sets to update a critical, segregated customer network with minimum risk and interruption to customer use.

The role is based in Luton, Bedfordshire – commutable from Watford, St Albans, Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Stevenage with excellent access from London.
