This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Senior or Principal level Structural Engineer who is looking to join a well-established, award winning, Civil and Structural Design Consultancy based in Renfrewshire. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, confident Structural Engineer who has previous experience working throughout a variety of Building Structures sectors (Residential, Commercial, Educational, Healthcare and mixed use builds). It is essential that you can design in contemporary materials (steel, concrete, masonry and timber) and you will feel confident leading teams from inception through to completion stage.
In order to be considered for this Principal Structural Engineer role you will;
-Have gained a strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
-You will be Chartered or very near Chartered status
-You will feel confident designing in contemporary materials
-You will have around 10 years or more demonstrable experience (ideally from a consultancy environment)
-You will be fully competent in use of AutoCAD with TEDDS, Fastrak and/or Revit being a bonus
-You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
-You will feel confident mentoring graduates and technicians
-You will display a positive, proactive approach to work
