Due to the continued growth strategy of their Core Engineering Team they have a current opening for a suitably qualified and experienced Principal Piping Engineer to join their existing team in the effective delivery of Nuclear Engineering projects. Reporting directly to the Engineering Section Manager you will be responsible for supporting Nuclear Engineering Projects in originating, checking and approving (where applicable) design output including; design calculations, design analysis, design reviews, design plans and risk assessments. You will be additionally responsible for executing Project Engineering activities on contracts as required, ensuring delivery of engineering aspects of projects to budgets, and programme timescales that meet and exceed internal and external customer expectations.
Ideal candidates will be Chartered Engineers, MIMechE or MIChemE (or Experience commensurate with) Engineering Council Registered Engineer. You will have a number of years experience as a senior engineer, leading, managing and developing Nuclear Engineering projects. You will be an exceptional communicator with proven effectiveness in the optimisation of quality vs. time vs. cost.
