At LEVC, our Engineers are the brains behind our class leading vehicles. They oversee everything from design and development all the way through to testing and validation; and everything in between.

We have an ambitious growth plan which in recent weeks has seen us launch a brand-new vehicle, the VN5 light commercial van. With that milestone ticked off, our Engineers are now focused on our next major project in collaboration with our parent company Geely.
This is where you come in.

We’re looking to employ 10 Senior Engineers who will be based in Hangzhou, China for the first 18 months of their employment before returning to the UK to be based at our Ansty site in Coventry

The Role is a Test and Development Principal Engineer specialising in durability and corrosion Attribute for light commercial vehicles. With specific focus on Light commercial vehicles you will be expected to support and lead as applicable the planning, management execution of durability attributes development to meet European and Chineese market and regulatory requirements. As development progresses you will be expected to provide informal and formal test reports and communicate progress and status to all program parties detailing the progress and any problems.The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in vehicle packaging, and vehicle durability requirements within a major automotive OEM or first tier supplier.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this position offers a salary of circa £84,000, company car and a series of comprehensive overseas allowances.
