This Primary Teaching Assistant role is open to English and Humanities graduates who have excellent literacy skills and an exemplary general academic record (holding a 2:1 from a respected university). About the Role

In this Primary Teaching Assistant position you will be working primarily to help struggling pupils meet internal and external targets in literacy. Many of the pupils here speak ‘English as an Additional Language’, thus, you will be helping to devise a learning strategy for these pupils based on their specific requirements, helping them to build on their strengths and dissipate their weaknesses. You will be receiving a good level of support throughout your time and learning the skills and techniques that will inform ‘Outstanding’ teaching, and eventually leading.
