We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our I&C team based in Solihull on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
Here’s what you’ll be doing
The E.ON I&C Pillar combines the current nPower nBS & E.ON B2B businesses to create a new £5billion revenue business serving c60,000 customers and around 300,000-meter points with a view to becoming the number one B2B energy supplier in the UK.
Right now, we’re looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our I&C team based in Solihull. For this role, you will be responsible for the pricing of complex fixed and flex export structured products, ensuring costs reflect current and forecast market conditions, whilst providing volume and hedging risk mitigation via appropriate contract terms and conditions. As part of this role, you will work with key stakeholders and internal customers to challenge, understand and provide meaningful and transparent communication of all pricing requests. You will have strong organisational skills and as such will have the ability to work towards tight deadlines. This role offers the hybrid working approach, where you will be working in the office (Solihull) 2 days per week.

Key responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate new business and renewals pricing for all export customers
- Maintain cost reflective pricing models to ensure pricing assumptions are up to date
- Adjust prices within day to mitigate market price risk in accordance with corporate risk strategy
- Support operations and sales departments through query management and process support
- Development of new pricing processes to enhance business productivity and performance
- Communicate risks and issues to management through weekly and monthly reports
- Document all processes following development and/or the introduction of new products
What we need from you
- Experience in a commercial/analytical role in the utilities industry
- Advanced level of numeracy, commercial judgement & analytical skills
- Ability to identify and resolve complex numeric problems
- Good modelling skills, preferably in MS Excel/Access and VBA
- Results orientated, able to meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment while delivering clear and concise reports to senior management and key stakeholders
- Ability to develop new processes for the pricing & contract management of new products
