Job Description of the Press Brake Operative 

• Be competent in programming and operating Amada Press Brake machines.
• The ability to read engineering drawings is essential
• Competent to plan and follow daily work schedules
• Follow Company procedures and processes (Including ISO 9001:2015 quality processes), with previous experience of parts inspection
• Record and report timings and quantities into our company production System.
• Conduct basic machine maintenance and cleaning to our “Autonomous Maintenance Instruction” schedules
• Undertake other basic fabrication requirements, including linishing and dressing of parts within production cycles
• Flexible within the team to help others with processes

Important Information about the Press Brake Role:

• This is a permanent position, with a competitive hourly rate
• Working days Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 4.00 pm
• Salary: £26,000 – £28,080per year
• Over-time available
