£19,000 – £25,000 DOE
Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, 25 days holiday + bank holidays

Our client, a highly successfully, family run business in Shrewsbury are looking for an experience Marketing Executive to join them on a permanent basis. The purpose of the position is to assist with the PR and Marketing activities across a number of areas within the business with specific responsibility of product marketing. Responsibilities will include;

• Take lead responsibility for the company’s social media activities and advise and
• Maintaining a social media strategy
• Respond to enquiries coming through social media and liaise with the sales team as necessary
• Evaluate and advise on results and analytics
• Manage Budgets set by marketing manager
• Source, print and digital advertising opportunities and place adverts in print and digital formats as agreed
• Maintain advertising budget spreadsheet and collate advertising coverage and results
• Write and distribute e-marketing campaigns as required and manage databases
• Research, write and distribute press releases to targeted media; collate and analyse media coverage; respond to media enquiries as required
• Collate and write the company’s staff newsletter
• Help maintain and update the company’s websites
• Help manage the production of marketing materials including leaflets, posters, flyers etc. and maintain a library of past materials
• Write and proof-read copy for websites, literature, marketing campaigns etc.
• Contribute to and help develop marketing plans and strategies and help deliver and
• evaluate marketing campaigns to agreed timescales and budgets
• Attend meetings, exhibitions and events as required

To be considered for this fantastic position you will have previous marketing experience, with excellent attention to detail, commercial awareness and have a proactive approach to all work given. You will be a bright, “switched –on” individual who is looking for their next marketing opportunity!
