Pr and Marketing Executive – UK Law Firm

Key responsibilities:

* To be the knowledge leader on matters of PR and content production but also to contribute to all areas of marketing, adding to and taking from the knowledge pool already in place.
* Deliver innovative PR approaches to raise brand awareness across key target markets
* Develop and manage a range of external partnerships and relationships to maximize the opportunities for the promoting of the full range of services

* Write relevant and up to date website content
* To maximize opportunities for positive media coverage across various media channels.
* Research and deliver timely news stories and articles
* Co-ordinate and write contributions for the press schedule.
* Develop a PR strategy in conjunction with the marketing team, to improve brand recognition and reputation.
* Work with the marketing team to write and deliver client communications which reflect key messages.
* Communicate with the social media team daily, regarding upcoming news and campaign stories.
* Support various rebrand projects.
* Liaise regularly with the media and expand our portfolio of preferred contacts.

The successful applicant will be part of a rapidly growing marketing team.

Essential:

* Have knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts.
* Must be an excellent communicator at all levels
* Must be innovative and able to think creatively
* Be highly motivated and a self- starter
* Great writing & communication skills
* Minimum 2 years in PR
* Fast pace communication skills to deal with news stories and campaigns
* First class relationship building skills
* General digital knowledge
* Experience managing and executing Social Media and PR campaigns
* A strong understanding of social platforms such as Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and Linkedin
* Experience with creating content
* The ability to work to tight deadline and be able to handle multiple projects at any given time
* Strong MS Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Desirable:

* Knowledge of the Legal sector
* Multi lingual
* People Management experience
* Strong analytical skills: understands and utilizes metrics relevant to role
* Experience with Content Management software
* Advantageous to possess Web Design knowledge

A background in law, insurance, employment and HR with an understanding of compliance is desirable.
