Our client is an award-winning marketing communications agency based in the South West of England. Established in 2002, they now possess two divisions which provide design, digital, PR, marketing and copywriting services to their customers and have a commitment to quality. An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a PR Account Manager to join their team.

As a PR Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and securing strong media coverage for a cluster of key customer accounts.

Handling media relations across print, digital and broadcast channels, you will source stories and write exciting and engaging content for a variety of media communications. Developing strong and effective relationships with the national media, you will pitch stories to journalists and undertake both tactical and strategic PR planning.

Dealing with a range of accounts, you will oversee any crisis communications and manage customer budgets and expectations to ensure a high level of satisfaction. Additionally, you will effectively use social media and manage our client’s own PR activity.

To be considered for this role, you must have at least three years’ previous PR experience within a PR agency. Equally important are your excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

As a PR Account Manager, you must possess a proactive hands-on approach and a meticulous attention to detail. Creative and innovative, you must have superb multitasking skills and the ability to think outside the box.
