Power Platform Consultant

POWER PLATFORM CONSULTANT – OUTSIDE IR35 – INITIAL 3 MONTHS (STARTING 8TH OF JAN)

Our leading public sector client is looking for a highly experienced Power platform Consultant on an initial 3 month contract.

Will consider remote working but hybrid is preferred, candidates would ideally be Scotland located.

We’re looking for a Microsoft MVP to help us progress some work and to help develop training plans for perm staff and deliver some of that training. We’re trying to recruit a team lead for Power Platform team and will hopefully be going out to the market very early next year but we really need someone to help guide us in a discovery exercise and to start getting some existing staff up to speed to be able to contribute to development of some use cases while the recruitment exercise runs its course.

• Support the development of a strategic plan to transition away from the current overly customised Dynamics CRM system
• Act as technical lead / functional consultant for Power Platform discovery project – covering potential future architecture, environment governance and setup, and development of initial use cases (yet to be confirmed)
• Act as technical lead / functional consultant for other related projects utilising the Power Platform (e.g. active Power Pages Customer Account project)
• Develop a training plan and carry out 1-2-1 and project team level training as appropriate to ensure internal perm staff are upskilled to be able to configure and integrate elements of Power Platform, which may include:
  – Power apps (model driven and canvas apps)
  – Power Automate
  – Power Pages
  – Power BI integration
  – Power Virtual Agents
  – Dataverse
  – Dynamics CRM
• Work collaboratively with a cross-partner team to share best practice on existing / future capabilities and approaches.
