Job Role: Polymer Technologist Shifts: Monday to Friday – Dayshift (Early finish on a Friday) Duration: Permanent Salary: Negotiable The Role: Roles and responsibilities: To contribute to the development of new products and provide technical support to customers.Evolution of existing products and processesProvide technical support and assistance for: Internal customers,Inter-company personnel,External customers and suppliers Management of product evaluation and testing as agreed with departmental manager.Manage and control formulation changes in response to product and process requirements.Ensure products comply with current regulations and quality requirements, through establishing control specifications and testing procedures.Effectively manage all projects including improvement activities and technical trials.Manage and control resource as appropriate within roleSupport the continuous improvement culture by participating, motivating and managing teams to achieve process and product improvements.Report all work effectively to ensure that knowledge is transferred to appropriate personnel and objectives and timing plans are achieved.Provide technical support and expertise for our customers.Understand their manufacturing processes as well and legislative requirements.
