Salary: £66,000 – £78,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced and driven individual to work within our established Implementation and Change function, delivering both critical IT and business projects to high profile clients and senior stakeholders across our base of clients.

As a PMO Lead, this role will be client facing, requiring a high level of stakeholder management skills alongside effective planning techniques. If successful, you will own a specific area of PMO (Planning, Risk, Issues, Governance etc), with the responsibility of setting up and establishing the specific function.

Must have expereince supporting large & complex programmes (2 year project durations and values in excess of £20m)

Job Description:

  • Take responsibility for the provision of portfolio, programme in your specialised area
  • Advise on the available standards, procedures, methods, tools and techniques for your specific area
  • Evaluate project and/or programme performance and recommends changes where necessary.
  • Contribute to reviews and audits of project and programme management to ensure conformance to standards.
  • Hold regular capability meetings (as necessary) with PMO / Programme personnel in support of delivering their specialised PMO service offering

Who are we looking for?

  • Has a sound understanding of Project/Programme management processes, evidenced through experience and qualifications – (PRINCE2 and P3O, plus appropriate Agile methodologies)
  • Has the ability to design, develop and deploy P3O (Evolve) policy, frameworks and templates across the Programme / project delivery structure for their area of specialism.
  • Has strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Can demonstrate a range of business analysis experience covering standard methods, tools and techniques relevant to their specialised discipline
  • Can work closely with the Head of PMO / PMO Managers to ensure core PMO competencies are developed and deployed for their specialised discipline.
  • Can influence, motivate and develop assigned team members to create a high performing team.
  • Has demonstrable experience in managing and influencing stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Has the ability to provide guidance and coaching to colleagues as appropriate.
