PMLD Teacher

Salary: £156 – £204 per day

We have had a last minute vacancy for a PMLD Teacher to start at a special school in the Birmingham area in September with a view to a permanent post, the school have requested a qualified teacher who has recent experience of working within a PMLD class. The position will be starting on Monday 6th September and you will be expected to attend their training on the 2nd and 3rd September. The pupils are all working below the national curriculum and follow a sensory curriculum, they use communication aids such PECs and Makaton as well as other aids. The class is mix ability with four strong teaching assistants for support who know the pupils very well.

Please note you must have previous experience in a PMLD class to be shortlisted for this post.
