Platform Engineer – Remote – £60kAWS, Cloud, Linux, Kubernetes, Software Development, Terraform, Ansible, GitThis exciting and established client is looking to add a Platform Enigneer to their development team based in Penrith. The successful Platform Engineer will have proven experience in a similar role and your skills will include extensive Linux and Cloud experience. You should have experience providing management of shared infrastructure and contributing to the design of multi-tenancy systems.Core skills required: Excellent working knowledge of Linux systems (advanced Linux topics i.e. eBFP, cgroups etc. are beneficial)Excellent experience working with cloud providersExperience of container orchestration (Kubernetes)Solid understanding of software developmentInfrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and AnsibleUnderstanding of version control using GitManaging several projects and prioritising demandsSelf-managing workload and continually meeting agreed deadlines This is an excellent role for a Platform Engineer looking for an organisation that will allow them to meet their full potential through a mixture of training, access to senior developers and producing business critical, bespoke databases for a range of exciting clients.
